Tana, thanks for the inquiry. We updated our library mission statement a
couple of years ago, and this year we completed a social media mission
statement. They are buried down a couple of levels on our library website
(there's a link to it on this page: library.castilleja.org/about). It's
primarily for our own use and purposes, and also to share with our
professional community in opportunities such as this!

*Library Mission Statement*

Espinosa Library engages with the Castilleja community, training capable
researchers, critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and ethical
participants in the contemporary information landscape by providing quality
resources for both academic and personal endeavors and by collaborating
with faculty members to enhance instruction.

*Social Media Mission Statement*

Espinosa Library’s social media presence features and promotes the
library’s resources, original content, programming, and events. With its
social media, the library primarily seeks to engage students and the
broader Castilleja community, including parents, faculty and staff, and
alumnae. The social media will also constitute a visual record of Espinosa
library’s activities and role in the community.
