Democratizing the DBQ: Helping all Students with the Evidence-based Writing
and Close Reading Skills
For over a decade, The DBQ Project has promoted rigorous reading and writing
instruction for all students, not just those in advanced classes. This
workshop will be interactive and participants will receive a sample unit
from The DBQ Project materials. History/Social Studies and ELA teachers of
4-12th grade are encouraged to attend.
