From Steven Taylor.

Hi folks.

When you want to burn something to cd please remember a few things.

1. Make absolutely sure you have what are called rewritable cds called by
computer shops cdrw you can protect them later from actual rewriting.

These disks are better quality than your standard cdr disks.

2. Insure you buy these cds from a computer store, tip, my disks come from
dick smith all the time excellent quality cds no problems.

3. Insure you have a clean burning drive.

To do this, buy a cd for the drive again dick smith sells these called a
cddvdrw cleaner about 15 dollars a disk but last about 6 months of use, use
once a week.

4. Insure no finger prints are on the disk.

To do this, hold the disk with 2 fingers on the very edge of the disk and
insert in to the drive.

5. Insure covers of disks are free of dust before inserting any disk inside
cover into drive.

6. Insure you select appropriate folders/files are ready to burn and have
already been correctly stored or downloaded.

7. After burning cd play on the drive you have selected for the burnt disk to
insure no errors.

8. Select appropriate formats for other equipment.

Tip. Insure you have read and understood formats supported by other equipment
before burning anything to disks.

9. Sighted assistance should not be required, but it is occasionally a good
idea all the same.

Cheers.

Steven taylor.
