The Indian Casino folks just may buy the naming rights to it. They're buying
up everything else these days, why not the Solar System too?

Mk 19 c that sounds like a cool designation. If ever our descendants are
out among the stars and happen stance upon an alien civilization when they
ask our people where they are from. The reply is "Oh we are from Mk 19 c!"
I bet that will confuse them space aliens. ;-)

Fellow Stargazers: While searching for an "official name" for our solar
system (other than THE Solar System) I found online the designation
"Mk19c" but was unable to confirm it with a reputable source. I'd never
heard that designation before, and was wondering if anyone on this list
could confirm that, and possibly explain the meaning of the letters and
numbers. Any insights appreciated. Thanks. -Dan Heim
