Howdy all;

Last night was a 6 out of 10 night for transparency at Antennas, not
good, not bad. I did several objects and we had a get together at 11 PM
and chatted for a while, then I did some reading and went to sleep. It
looks much better today, hardly any clouds at all and the few that are
around are small and thin. So, I am hoping for better observing
tonight.

I did the scope into good collimation after quite a bit of fiddling
around. Now the Sky Commander is on the fritz, it starts up and then
the display dies off after 5 seconds or so. I wonder if the battery
connector is not making good contact. I will look it over once I am
done here.

As of now we have me, Ken Naiff, Joe and Pat Goss and George Kolb. A
week from today Comet Panstarrs is up for a few minutes after the
setting Sun and will be just to the south of the thin crescent Moon. I
will try and get some images.

See ya;
Steve Coe
