We have lowered the price for our 36+ acre dark sky site. It is
located in Cochise County about 14 miles east of Tombstone with magnificent
night skies. We have lowered the price to $19,000, and we paid considerably
more than this about 14 years ago. This price is well below the tax
appraisal, too.
This lot has power and phone to the property, and it also has a
maintained dirt road, too. It is part of the High Lonesome Ranch Estates.
When we took SQM readings, we hit 21.4 MPASS shortly after astronomical
twilight. Once curfews kick in, it's even much darker than this. With
thirty-six plus acres, it is a very long way to any porch lights!
