NASA's Stardust comet sample return mission is slated to touch down in the Utah
salt flats at 3 a.m. on Sunday, January 15. Information about the 'fiery'
re-entry is at this site.

I wondered if this would be visible from Phoenix. The landing site is about
700 miles away. Does anybody know if there will be a site that will predict
viewing geometry a la "Heavens Above"?
