[AZ-Observing] Star party

The Flagstaff area public star party is scheduled for Monday evening June 17
(8:00 pm setup) at the Elden Hills Driving Range parking area. Location is
near the corner of Country Club Drive south (from I 40 east) and Old Walnut
Canyon Road. Weather permitting, i.e. only scattered clouds or clear and
the show goes on.. A clear dark view of the east, west and south is present
but north one must contend with ball field lights until they go off. Do not
set up on the grass area as sprinklers go off about 9:45 pm! Those with
telescopes are encouraged to attend and those without are most welcome also.
Come and enjoy the view of the heavens provided by both amateur and
professional astronomers.
