Howdy;

Stan and I were discussing this refractor marathon at Cherry Road last
night and thought that we might be able to get it together for the
Sentinel Star Gaze, that is New Moon November 12 and 13. If the SAC and
EVAC refractor owners are willing, I think that could be a fun evening.
I hope that it would be cold enough up north that Brian Skiff and his
Pronto would be willing to drive down for a warm night or two.

The other thought is the All Arizona Star Party in October.

Speaking of Cherry Road it was pretty mushy last night, I gave the
transparency a 5, and it occasionally was zero! But, we had fun, stuck
with relatively bright objects and enjoyed ourselves comparing views and
swapping some eyepieces. Richard Payne took a Schmidt shot through the
clouds of the North American Neb. We all agreed that it was worth the
trip.

Take care;
Steve

Maybe we can get the folks from EVAC to bring along their bino viewers,
too??
If it isn't scheduled TOO soon, MAYBE I can get my 6" Jaegers doublet
folded refractor AND the 6 inch Buchroeder f:15 tri-schiefspeigler
together (on the same mount)...
