[AZ-Observing] Oregon Star Party

Hi all,
Greetings from the (sort of) cool Northwest. It's about 80 degrees at the
Oregon Star Party at mid-day. Last night was the first official night,
and we had a small trough make it a suckerhole evening. Looks good now
for the next two nights, and we are crossing our fingers that the smoke on
the western horizon turns away from us.
Making the trip from Arizona this year were Al Steiwing, Bernie Sanden,
Diane Hope, Jennifer Keller, and me, Tom Polakis, on Jennifer's account.
Pretty cool to have an internet kiosk in the middle of a National Forest
in the middle of nowhere.
Hoping for clear and smokeless skies tonight.
