Hi All-
I finished blog post number 1,000 last night (!) so had to be a momentous
post... The last few days I've been out in the back yard shooting stellar
spectra with my DSLR and chunk of glass I fashioned into about a 30 degree
prism. Looks like I can get down to about magnitude 4.7 (about the faintest I
can see visually in mid-Tucson) by stacking four 8 second exposures with my
300mm lens. Check out the fun I've been having at:
