All:
It appears from the majority of comments I have received that it is prudent
to cancel the marathon, so, as President, I am officially asking that it be
posted on our web site that it is cancelled, and I will be contacting EVAC
to let Gordon know, and to publish, that it has been officially cancelled.
I will be attempting to keep myself in quarantine, with a dramatic
quarantine at the end of next week in the safety of the desert far from the
contamination of Phoenix.
Thanks for all of your comments, and I will try to keep you all informed
with the emails that Gordon has been receiving of the collective astronomy
community information.
