I hope everybody got a glimpse of the dim, distant Mars
very close to much brighter Mercury during twilight this evening.
Mercury was unusually bright about 10 days ago
(near mag 0 --- about as bright as Capella in the northwest).
It is fainter now, but still easy to see compared to Mars.
