Hi,
I just posted a shot of M51 (The Whirlpool Galaxy) at:

http://www.astroshow.com/Galaxies/M51.html

Interesting thing about this shot is that there was no usable
guide star for this shot. So I decided to try 2 minute unguided
shots of Luminance, Red, Green and Blue using Bin 2 for
Luminance and Bin 4 for R, G, and B.

The result greatly surprised me. No star trails because my
alignment is pretty good. Image is a great improvement of
my older film shots and my older ST-7 camera shot.

Shot could be improved of course with longer guided exposure.
But I was reasonably happy with how it turned out considering...

Thanks,

Howard
