Hi All,
While Steve is bringing it up, I've gotten more participants signed up than
usual for the South Rim, but almost all are non-campers. The Park has
given us four additional sites over the last five years, but we don't
officially open the free campsite requests until March 1; then the flood
starts.
Sounds like Steve has some space for those volunteers who like the higher
altitude and cozier setup and visitor experience, while we on the South Rim
have the luxury of plenty of setup space and a tremendous number of visitors
to service.
Please participate on one side of the Canyon or the other - you'll never
know what one life you'll change.
