I've added a shot taken approx 1am last night (approx 8:00UT 10/27) which includes the region of sky containing Comet Holmes during it's outburst. Slight movement against the background stars can be detected by comparing the two images, but it's very subtle. The moon interference is more obvious by the lighter background sky color. Hope everyone gets a good look at this comet through a good scope or large binoculars before it calms back down. http://www.pbase.com/bsanden/comet_17p_holmes - Bernie -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
