You may have to call Coconino National forest for information on road on the
rim there are still lots of them not reopened from the winter. They have
fallen trees and some are still muddy....

Subject: [AZ-Observing] At Antennas site

Hello there;

Well, Tom Clark and his wife Jeannie and I decided to get out of town.
Because it was snowing in Flagstaff we picked the Antennas site, knowing
it would be warm during the day and there is a Full Moon. But, it
certainly is out of town and the cost is zero.

We got out of bed at 3 AM for a couple of hours observing before sunrise.
The Milky Way was gorgious and we did manage to enjoy some observing and
image taking before the dawn light got to us.

We are planning on leaving for Prescott on Wednesday and then down to the
club meeting on Friday. I look forward to a great meeting.

After the meeting we are meeting with a fellow that Tom knows at the Naval
Observatory and get the tour there. We will probably observe from near
there for a while and maybe try Five Mile Meadow near Happy Jack. We will
have to see what the temperature is going to be before we decide. I also
told Tom we might drive a car to the Cherry Road site and see if we can
get the motor homes into that spot. We shall see.

See you at the SAC meeting;
Steve Coe
