Hello All Fellow Arizona Stargazers!
I am Kevin Kozel, Treasurer with the Saguaro Astronomy Club. As you know by
now, March 12, 2016 is the All Arizona Messier Marathon at the Hovatter Air
Field. I have recently volunteered to seek donations for the raffle which will
be held directly after the Saturday dinner.
Please look in your vast inventory of astronomy gear for anything you would be
willing to part with. Be it books, charts, eyepieces, binoculars, accessories
or an entire telescope, everything will be very much welcome.
Last year’s raffle was a success and I hope we have another good raffle this
year. I will also be seeking donations from other sources in Arizona and
elsewhere. Time is short for gathering donations, so if you have something to
donate, please contact me off-line at kevin.kozel@xxxxxxx and let me know what
you have in mind. I don’t have much spare time to collect donations, so if you
are coming to the Marathon, please bring your donation with you.
