Me thinks Mr Garrity is in for some surprises!

The petite blond, Ensign Zachary Garrity, awoke, still shivering slightly
despite the warming fluids and the blankets which covered him. He looked
around, trying to make sense of his surroundings. A sickbay, to be sure..but
where? It looked as if he were aboard a starship, not a station. But that
couldn't be right, could it?

He searched his memory carefully. He'd been studying in the mess hall on
Andromeda Station when the order came to join in the training simulation.. It
hadn't made sense to him. He wasn't a pilot. He was a xenolinguicist. A com
tech. Still, he knew from experience not to argue. He took his place within the
cockpit and prepared for flight. Within moments it became clear what a mistake
that was. He was in trouble. Live phaser fire in a simulation?

Then nothing.

What had gone wrong?

He looked around the sickbay again, at the glut of wounded and wondered. What
had happened?
