atw: Software company tech writers

Hi all
Just wondered amongst the array of experienced people, if I could get an
idea of what the 'norm' is?
That is, for a software company of 25 people, two ongoing major projects, in
terms of technical writer expectations - how many technical writers would
the expectation be?
There are two BAs, two software testers and 8 developers.
