IBM produces a book about technical writing for software/IT environments
(I have that at home) which is very good.
'Chicago Manual of Style' - although that is more oriented towards print.
'Managing Your Documentation Projects' by Jo-Ann Hackos is a must read.
Bob Trussler suggested 'Microsoft Manual Of Style'. So do I. In fact you
will find yourself referring back to it very often.

MVP website.
Word-PC list is also very good.
