and who says that some of these words are worthless!
Having a daily dose is a good idea. I am reminded of an incident on TV in
? the 1960s, with Penny Spence and will Rushton.
Penny was explaining how she was trying to improve her vocabulary by
selecting a new word each week and trying to use it as often as possible
that week.
I cannot remember her word for that week, but Will Rushton remarked "Yes,
it has been a good week for xxxx"
And Penny sweetly agreed.
