Hey Sascha (Gillies) If you an archiving utility such as the awesome PowerArchiver (by ConeXware Inc.) from <http://www.powerarchiver.com/> or even the quite competent WinZip (by WinZip Computing) from <http://www.winzip.com> installed on your PC, you could open the Windows File Explorer (Windows Flag+E) right-click on the file in question and encrypt it, deleting the remaining file and extracting it for your use, as needed. Otherwise, I'm thinking that there must be something like a Tools > Protect document option, such as in Word 2000, into which you can place a password, or (again from the Windows File Explorer) you could use the properties for the file to make it hidden to others. Or you could release it to selected people as an access password protected PDF, keeping the source file only on your C: drive, then installing a BIOS password on your PC. How do those options sound? I was thinking along the lines =3D= of a password to allow access? Am I missing something obvious? > Sascha Gillies > Technical Writer <snip> ###################################################################### Attention:=20 The information in this electronic mail is privileged and confidential, intended only for use of the individual or entity named.
