Ed, this certainly did the trick. The later version of the
Logitech Mouseware, which I installed first, didn't work.=20

I'm using an older Logitech driver (9.421), which can be
downloaded from:
http://www.front-runner.com/pages/support/files.html
There's a link to it in the left-hand panel of that page.
When you install it and are asked to configure it, go to
the Buttons tab=20
and make sure that the Use MS Office Compatible Scroll Only
checkbox is=20
unticked.
Works a treat!=20
