I use a free utility called PureText (http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/) - a
quicker way to paste unformatted text that in-one-go does the Paste into
notepad (ctrl-v), select all (ctrl-a), copy (ctrl-c), switch back to word
mangler (alt-tab) and paste (ctrl-c).

While pasting as unformatted text usually works, I find that pasting via
notepad is infallible and takes only an extra couple of keystrokes.
Paste into notepad (ctrl-v), select all (ctrl-a), copy (ctrl-c), switch back to
word mangler (alt-tab) and paste (ctrl-c). All done without having to leave the
keyboard. I'd rather remove bullets than muck around with margins.

BTW, Open Office has a shortcut key for pasting unformatted text: Press
ctrl-shift-v and then [u] once or twice and then [enter].
