Guess: Authorit probably adds its own template during the convert -----Original Message----- From: Ilana Cohney Sorry all, I actually discovered my problem. I created the Word document using AuthorIT. I created the Hidden text style in the AuthorIT template and generated the Word document based on this template. However, when I checked the style in the generated document, even though the Hidden text box was ticked it appeared greyed out. The text itself was not hidden. I can't think why this should happen. I reticked the Hidden text box in the style, updated the style and from there had no problems. I will have to ask the AuthorIT help why the hidden style was not applied correctly. Thanks to all of you who responded. I really value this list and do not know how I would manage to work without it. It is not easy to be the sole technical writer in an organisation of programmers. ************************************************** To post a message to austechwriter, send the message to austechwriter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe to austechwriter, send a message to austechwriter-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "subscribe" in the Subject field.
