Problem 1: Is the linked CHM om your own machine or on a server? If it's on a
server, then you may have hit the 'security patch' that MS brought in about 12
months ago. Check the MS Knowledge Base for 896358.

Subject: atw: Help with RoboHelp please - fire engine emergency!

Hi,

I've inherited a Help system and I know I didn't have all the files when I
started but now I have these problems.

Scenario

   Individual software modules
Individual chms in large context-sensitive help system
Users may have any or all software (and so Help) modules installed
TOC displays as if all are available but really you only have access to
   whatever is installed
Done by making a master chm then taking master.hhc and including it as a
   baggage file in all modules

Problems

Only one module does not work . It's there in the master TOC but
clicking throws the error "The page cannot be displayed". However, the
   chm works on its own.
Can end up with multiple instances open. Not displaying in one window.

I could live with problem 2 but problem 1 is unacceptable.

I would appreciate some expert guidance. This is due by COB today (product
master tomorrow) and I'm frantic. I've been debugging it for a month and I
can't finish it off.

Thank you.
