atw: Melbourne Contract (beginning early July): Eastern suburbs

Dear austechies,

 

An associate is looking for a junior technical writer for a 6 week contract
(most likely 2 months), beginning the first week in July. The work involves
producing servicing procedures for a new bio-medical instrument.

The following skills are required:

 

*       excellent attention to detail
*       mechanical aptitude
*       ability to work with minimal supervision
*       ability to obtain information from busy subject matter experts
*       demonstrated ability to translate technical information into clear
and concise documents


Experience using FrameMaker is an advantage.

In this role you will investigate and write procedures, using a pre-defined
document layout and style, for an instrument nearing the end of its
development. 


You will report to the Project Manager and Senior Writer.
