Why not?
From track area, ctrl + A to select all, ctrl + F6 to jump to selection bar,
and tab over to selection start and end fields?
Fade-out is under effects menu.

Not sure if there's a better way, but, if you jump to selection bar, then you
can check selection start and end times?
In terms of fade-out, the sort of standard fade out effect seems to just work
automatically on selected audio, but, there might be other effects that you can
use in a more customised manner.
