[audacity4blind] Is scrubbing supported yet?

Hello.
I haven't been keeping up with the list so perhaps I may have missed it.
Can anyone tell me if true scrubbing is supported yet in Audacity?
Also, I was wondering if Audacity will be able to do multi-tracking fairly
well on a 1.6mhz Centrino laptop?
