Hello,
Apologies if you've already received an email with some of this
information, I have no way of distinguishing between people that have
signed up before and after the last email was sent.
You're receiving this email because you gave us your email address at
the Freshers' fayre or at an auCompSci event.
Firstly, thank you for your interest in auCompSci. Hopefully you'll
enjoy what we do.
Secondly, our next meeting is Wednesday, in MacRobert 106. The
MacRobert building is behind the Arts Lecture Theatre and Room 106 is
on the first floor. For those of you that came along today, you should
already know this.
Thirdly, this is only the announcements mailing list. If you're a
member that would like to post interesting information to other
members of auCompSci, you can use the discussion mailing list as
mentioned in the wonderful introductory talk by me today:

The reason we don't automatically subscribe you to this list is that
at times, it may have high traffic. We think it's unfair to subject
your inbox to that without giving you the choice.
Fourthly, and *VERY IMPORTANTLY*, there has been a slight
administrative error in collecting membership information. We hold a
members database but the Aberdeen University Students' Association
also holds one. They collect information that we don't. If you could
email me at:

with the following details:
* Full Name
* Email Address
* Matriculation Number (on your student card)
* Date of Birth
* Contact Number
