Recently I've been getting issues with my 'j' key triggering multiple
times when I press it. I assume that this is a hardware issue on my end
(faulty key), but I want to be sure before I replace it. Is there a way
to inspect de-bounce / faulty key issues like this? Is there an easy way
to change the trigger point for specific keys using the TMK firmware?
It's actually much more likely to be a faulty solder joint than a
failing key--before you try replacing the switch, try just re-melting
each of the solder joints around the affected key and associated
diode. You can bump up the debouncing allowance, but if only a single
key is affected I would start with the solder joint.
If it is the switch at fault and you don't have a spare, I can send you
a replacement; just let me know.
