In 2016, the ASCCT recognized two award-winning presentations during its annual
meeting. We are pleased to present these award winners for an exclusive webinar.
The first presenter is Ellen Garcia, a PhD candidate in the Department of
Biological Sciences at Virginia Tech. Ellen won the 1st Tox21 Student Award,
and will present "Single-cell analysis reveals that silver nanoparticle
exposure leads to multi-nucleation through defective cell division."
The second presenter is Emma Bowers, a doctoral candidate in the UNC Curriculum
in Toxicology. Emma will present "Modeling a complex in vivo response in vitro:
Exploring heterogeneity and mechanisms associated with ozone adaptation." Emma
is the winner of the 2nd Ed Carney Predictive Toxicology Award.
Each award is presented annually by the ASCCT for outstanding work presented at
the annual meeting. Please join us to learn more about these young scientists
and their exciting research!
The webinar is open to all--please forward the registration link to any
colleagues you think may be interested in participating.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information
about joining the webinar.
Sincerely,
Kristie Sullivan
