VIVACOM Art Hall представя “Видео, видео пумпал”
На 29 март 2012 (четвъртък) от 18:00 часа, VIVACOM Art Hall ще представи
видео селекцията „Видео, видео пумпал“ – кураторски проект на Павлина
Младенова. Прожекцията се осъществява в партньорство с VIVACOM Фонд,
Фондация „Отворени изкуства“ (Пловдив) и сдружение „Видеохолика“ (Варна).
„Видео, видео пумпал“ включва три тематични видео арт селекции - „Зона на
доверието“, „Ръце“ и „Нагоре по стълбите, надолу по стълбите II“.
Селекцията „Зона на доверието“ анализира авторското право като особена
форма на интеракция между видео арт и кино. Селекцията „Ръце“ представя
символиката на ръцете на две нива – като обект и жест. „Нагоре по стълбите,
надолу по стълбите II“ играе с обекта „стълби“ и неговите разностранни и
противоречиви тълкования в движение и в статика.
Сред имената на участващите видео артисти са тези на Жан Габриел Перио
(Франция), Къмхян Джон (Южна Корея), Петър Уайтенбелгер (САЩ), Стефан
Хилербранд & Мери Maгсамен (САЩ), Антони Шраг (Обединено Кралство/ Канада)
и др. Българското участие е представено от Нено Белчев и Бистра Льошавалие.
В селекцията участват още автори от Испания, Словения, Тайван, Турция,
Дания, Италия, Германия, Индия, Холандия, Румъния, Унгария, Великобритания.
Трите видео арт селекции са представяни в Нощта на музеите и галериите в
Пловдив, както и на международни форуми и събития в Италия, Гърция, Украйна
и Южна Корея. На 29 март проектът ще бъде представен на софийската публика
от VIVACOM Art Hall. Под общото име „Видео, видео пумпал“, селекциите имат
своеобразен тематичен и концептуален живот и представят унифицираната
технология на движещия се образ в маниера на видео арта.
Ще чуем и сет на Мартин Коевски, а.k.a Clipper, познат с добрата си
селекция от различни стилове като electro, cosmic, disco, italo, balearic,
chicago new beat, eastern psychedelica, и движеща сила на Disco Comrades.

VIVACOM Art Hall presents “Video, Video Spinning Top”
On March 29, 2012 (Thursday), at 6 pm, VIVACOM Art Hall will present the
video art selection “Video, Video Spinning Top” – а curatorial project of
Pavlina Mladenova. The screening is realized in collaboration with VIVACOM
Fund, Open Arts Foundation (Plovdiv) and Videoholica Association (Varna).
“Video, Video Spinning Top” includes three thematic video art selections –
“Trusted Zone”, “Hands” and “Up Stairs, Down Stairs II”. “Trusted Zone”
selection analyzes copyright as a special form of interaction between video
art and cinema. The selection "Hands" presents hands as a symbol on two
main levels: as an object and gesture. "Up Stairs, Down Stairs II" plays
with the “stairs” object and its diverse and contradictory interpretations
in motion and statics.
Among the names of the participating video artists are those of Jean
Gabriel Periot (France), Geumhyung Jeong (South Korea), Peter Bobby (UK),
Hillerbrand & Magsamen (USA), Anthony Schrag (UK / Canada) and others. The
Bulgarian participation is represented by Neno Belchev and Bistra
Lechevalier (Bulgaria/France). In the selection there are also
participating authors from Spain, Slovenia, Taiwan, Turkey, Denmark, Italy,
Germany, India, the Netherlands, Romania, Hungary, UK.
“Video, Video Spinning Top” has been presented at the Night of Museums and
Galleries in Plovdiv, and at international forums and events in Italy,
Greece, Ukraine and South Korea. On March 29, the project will be presented
to the Bulgarian audience by VIVACOM Art Hall. Under the common name
“Video, Video Spinning Top”, the three selections reveal their own thematic
and conceptual life and present the unified technology of the moving image
in the manner of video art in its “colours” and “circular movements”.
The guests of the event will hear a set of the DJ Martin Koevski, a.k.a.
Clipper, known for his good selection of different styles like electro,
cosmic, disco, italo, balearic, chicago new beat, eastern psychedelica, and
driving force of Disco Comrades.
