target platform is a raspi + SCI attached CAN controllerboard. both
cheap. When I've got the linux stuff with CANnet running I have an entry
enabler.
CAN is by far not as ubiquitous as Ethernet is for easy access.
well, with CAN as network device I don't start at zero.
