I've experienced two electronic package ejections from structural failures. The data was recovered from the EEPROM after impacts from 2000 & 4000 ft. The two components that do not tolerate terminal velocity impact are pressure sensors and clock crystals. Electronincs can be found on dry lake beds. Terminal velocity would be negligable. The hard part would be FINDING it.
