Thanks, that gives me a hint. Try modifying line 299 of spectro/ dispwin to: 

        if (k != NULL && v != NULL && strcmp(k, "en_US") == 0) {

recompile, and see if it's any better.

This is not a full fix, but may stop it crashing...
