Attached, you find the Lab-Plot from Apples ColorSync.

Apple's ColorSync Utility always uses the A2B0 (percaptual) tables in gamut comparisons (which is misleading IMHO).

When you look at the 3D view of the A2B1 tag of the i1Match profile, you will see that the "real" black point is similar to the one of the argyll profile.

In contrast to i1Match, Argyll's A2B0 tables don't not "undo" the gamut mapping of the B2A0 table. See <http://www.argyllcms.com/doc/iccgamutmapping.html> for details.
