Hmm. The 1.8.3 release does have a bug in it displaying the system
details regardless of whether the -D (debug) flag is set or not, and
I'm guessing that this is triggering the hang. I wasn't able to
reproduce the hang myself though on Win6 64 bit.
You could try the illumread in
<
http://www.argyllcms.com/Argyll_184b_win64.zip>
and see if that cures the problem.
