That is exactly what I did, read the chart off line and then connected the DTp20 to computer and tried to read it with chartread. Was I using the correct syntax for chartread to do that ?
(using chartread -v -D ./chart_name).I am wondering though if the problem might also be that the DTP20 doesn't remotely read the chart but is limited to those produced by x-rite? I confess to knowing almost nothing about these devices but the instructions do say that after it has finished reading a chart it pulses steadily. This doesn't happen with this one, it just reads each row at a time giving a happy little beep at the end of each row and a 'ready' light but it doesn't seem to treat the last row any differently to the others.
