Personally I use the Wolfe IT8 target chart for making a general purpose
camera input profile, as the Wolfe charts are affordable and make decent
profiles.
if "Wolfe" = "*Wolf* Faust" then those targets are too glossy for a "hoi
polloi" people to shoot properly... more matte ones like much maligned here
CC24 in its many incarnations/different formulations are much simpler (even
them being matte mean no very saturated patches)
