Hello,

If you have a colorimeter and know how to use Argyll CMS then go ahead.

Calibration can correct colour casts in the white point and shadows (grey 
scale) and photos will look better with a neutral display.

But there's little you can do about the narrow gamut of WLED displays (reds not 
fully red and greens not fully green). I use my Aspire One for travel, photo 
downloading and viewing but not editing.
