Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Hi,
Some questions from a new subscriber to this list: I noticed on
http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/ that there are two lists for arachne,
one at coollists, and this one at freelists. Er, what's the difference
between the two? Which one is the most appropriate for newbies?
Also, what about having a look at http://www.gmane.org ? You could get a
NNTP access to this mailing list, with never expiring articles and
another archive (http://www.mail-archive.com). You can also import
archives (http://gmane.org/import.php), get spam protection
(http://gmane.org/faq.php), a web interface and above all a newsreader
access to the mailing list. Especially now that aranews is out.
About the new usenet client, has someone noticed that it wasn't
announced on the appropriate newsgroups, and the wikipedia pages weren't
updated? Finally, I did it (http://tinyurl.com/ferep), and added a
wikipedia page in Turkish, although I never was able to get online with
Arachne. I'll soon bother you with that I think. In exchange, I can try
to do my best if you need some translation for Arachne in French and/or
Turkish ;) Feel free to get in touch.
