Tom Stafford commanded Apollo 10, the dress rehearsal for the Apollo 11
Moon landing, as well as the Apollo-Soyuz docking with the Russians in
1975. He was selected in the second class of NASA Astronauts and was the
Gemini 6A pilot and Gemini 9A commander.
