Miguel,

My response has been through war-tax resistance<http://nwtrcc.org/>.

Thank you for reminding us of this present reality.

Subject: [amc] US Military budget

How to be a peaceful Mennonite when one out of every thirteen dollars the US
gov’t spends is on the military? Is it enough to maintain a personal adherence
to non-violence when so much organized violence is perpetrated in our name and
with our tax dollars? Before hospitals can be bombed and children and civilians
killed, money must be appropriated and decisions toward “more guns and less
butter” sanctioned by our erstwhile leaders (of both major parties).

Miguel

the chaos and violence of the past 15 years, the Republican presidential
candidates seem oblivious to the dangers of wielding such disproportionate
military power.
