This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. Most of you remember that we
used to do Potluck every first Sunday.... Those were the days!
It has worked out a few times recently that those of us who came to church
in the building shared soup brought by one or two people along with
whatever snacks there were and other things that other people may have
brought.
Since it is Rachel's first Sunday as pastor we would like to do the same
thing. It is not the same fun as our normal potluck, but it does allow for
some people to get together and visit.
I am looking for volunteers:
* One or two people to make soup or stew to share.
* Anyone else who wants to bring a complimentary item. We have muffins
left over from last week and I am also bringing little oranges, so I think
some of that will be left over.
* Clean up crew - it may just be whoever is there, but if you want to
volunteer to clean up it would be appreciated. I am sure everyone will work
together.
