This morning in the adult Sunday School there were a couple of references to an episode of "This American Life". It was an episode in which Julia Sweeney talks about her effort to recover her faith as an adult, which was eventually unsuccessful. In the course of the monologue, she raises some funny but very serious questions about atonement. If you want to listen to it, here's how: 1) go to http://www.thislife.org/ 2) In the "Search This Site" box, type: Godless America. Hit enter 3) Click on "Godless America" 4) Now you're at the right page. Click on the little "RA" icon. It might start playing right away or it might download the file onto your computer. If it downloads, just double click the file and you're off. The monologue is in the second half of the show.
