Talk gives inside look at Guantanamo
Description: The Robert S. Strauss Center presents "An Inside Look at
Guantanamo" with James Yee as he discusses his observations and experiences
as a U.S. Army officer and chaplain at Guantanamo Bay. Although recognized
twice for outstanding performance as a minister to detainees on behalf of
the U.S. Army, Yee was arrested and held in solitary confinement for 76 days
in 2003. He was accused of spying and aiding prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay
detention camp but was subsequently exonerated of all charges, given an
honorable discharge and commended for his service.
Time: 6-7:30 p.m.
