Mennonite Central Committee is appealing for $500,000 to support relief
and recovery efforts in Myanmar following cyclone Nargis. MCC has
committed $100,000 to support initial relief efforts of trusted partners
who are already at work in Myanmar. Water, medical treatment, food and
emergency supplies are immediate priorities. MCC has committed $400,000
for longer-term recovery and rebuilding. Please send checks designated
"Myanmar Relief and Recovery" to MCC Central States, PO Box 235, North
