Dear Friend,
Summer is upon us -- please join us for our final Red Bench gathering
until the fall. On Tuesday, June 29, we invite all of you to share
personal stories centered around the theme of Duty.
In a word, neither death, nor exile, nor pain, nor anything of this kind
is the real cause
of our doing or not doing any action, but rather our inward opinions and
principles.

We will gather at First United Methodist Church's Family Life Center for
food and informal conversation at 6:00, and the program will begin at 6:30.
Free parking is available in the garage immediately south of the Family
Life Center at 13th & Lavaca Streets. Please park on the third level or
above. If the bar is down, just take a ticket -- you won't be charged
when you exit.
